The Knights of Honour is a 14th Century Medieval Re-enactment Society that re-enacts the period In history commonly known as 'The Hundred Years War' from Edward III to Henry V (1337-1453), encompassing the great battles of Crécy, Poitiers and Agincourt.
The Medieval Knights in the late Fourteenth Century tourneyed with blunt weapons to show their skill, or deadly earnest to prove their title to property or position. To prepare in times of peace for times of war.
The Knights of Honour bring history alive in our encampment and are able to show how people in the 14th century would have lived, dressed, fought and spent their leisure time showing skills in tournament.
Our Living History displays involve combat and warfare of the period, as well as archery, crafts, food and clothing of the time, dance and music.
We do a wide variety of Shows, fetes and Charity fund raising events which include Living History displays, Squire School, school talks, and now specialise in weddings and Banquets, as well as film and tv work including:-
Midsummer Murders
The Peasants Revolt, Channel 4 (Oct 2004)
The Time Children, Cutaway Films
Radio broadcasts
Look East - Anglia TV
And more....
