Friends of Knights of Honour
The Knight School was designed by Ross O'Hennessy (Knights Et Armis) and Richard Babbage (Age of Chivalry) to cater for the heavily armoured combatants within the re-enactment field.
It is an army-boot camp style weekend based on endurance and skill that is essential training for any knight who wanted to survive a battle during the Middle Ages. The combat is based around a safe competitive free system of exciting swordplay called attack and response.
During the first Knight School not all the attendees managed to survive the high standards that were expected by Ross and Richard who regularly train in this fashion.
Paul Black (Sir John of Lancaster ) was one of the hardiest knights who fought to survive the weekend. Ross and Richard are proud to call him 'brother in arms' due to his never quit attitude.
The Knight School is the highest level of achievement.
